Related: About this forumWhat are the best watercolors?
I just saw a demo of some A. Gallo watercolors done by the watercolorist Emily Olson. They're handmade in Italy and pretty expensive. Are they worth it?

pretty good.
i used to use derwent pencils and caron dache. i like sennelier pastels, so id trust their paints.
u should try them. very fun, and easy to use once u get the hang. makes a lot of the painful parts of wc easy.

I like the creaminess of Rosa paint made from the Ukraine.
I guess it depends truly on what you like but the Rosa paints are more opaque.
I now use Schmincke which is a very good paint but added Daniel Smith in my pallet so Im equally happy with most of them.
I think it depends on what your painting if you want a more transparent look or more opaque.
I believe the paper is the more important.
