Related: About this forumA painting I did for my oncologist's office.
I included a closeup of the butterflies, which are 3-dimensional. I will give it to her when I go for my checkup next month.

(34,708 posts)I was trying for uplifting.
Our doctors group used to sponsor a butterfly release every summer, so that is what gave me the idea for this.

(34,708 posts)But every participant was given a little box with a live butterfly inside. Wed all go outside and on the count of three open the boxes and see all the butterflies take off up into the sky. Usually there were about a hundred of us there, so it was a very cool thing to see. Theyd make an afternoon out of it for us with entertainment and food. It was very nice.

It reminds me of the style of one of the famous artists, but being ignorant, I can't remember which one....
You need to do more and sell them..........Personally rewarding, and financially rewarding at the same time.
Keep it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im just a hobbyist right now
it takes me a long time to finish something and I just enjoy the process of it all.
Someone else told me it reminded them of the Impressionist style, which wasnt my goal, but that was so flattering. I cant begin to think Ill ever be in that club.

(1,198 posts)upon seeing your exquisite piece,I immediately thought..wow, how great would it be to have Kamala releasing the butterflies...signifying the release of hope and transformation.
Of course,I understand that wouldn't be appropriate to modify your painting, but something similar could be memorable.
