Sat in the road to sketch, then toddled home to paint. The Phoenixes are what I wanted to see in the shadows. The sketch site belongs to a neighbor who lost his wife this year. I'm giving him my painting.

Rock shapes, especially the ones that are smooth are difficult to paint or draw.
