most are my first gen trolls from the hood. i usually also google mopinko, so i can have a laugh at the trolls.
this gallery, where i was on the board might pop up, mostly in credits for funders.
but i got to chatting w the retired director/founder, and was on the site, and wondered what pics there were there.

(71,836 posts)sorry if i did. my elbows are too sharp for my own good sometimes.
then again, i occasionally leave a foe bleeding from elbow stabs. i do my best to only use them for good.

(53,410 posts)I look forward to spending a lot of time looking at the creative content. Are you one of the artists there too, aside from having been on the board?

it's all juried shows, and they are utterly hands-off.

(53,410 posts)Thanks for the link! I just looked at Joyce Owens work and it left me in awe. Very powerful indeed. I have great admiration for artists who explore human history with passion and stark frankness in their depictions of history that molds a people. She clearly depicts American Black history which has its own unique experiences that could only happened here in our rather short history. I look at her work and see both cause and effect, and endurance and life. And our very dark and messed up foundation as a country.
The one that got me in the heart was the Survivor Spirits. It is so powerful that I know I will never forget it. It now lives in my head. I feel lucky to see Joyce Owens work. Thank you so much for the link! I have it bookmarked.

(71,836 posts)it's not a time suck, it's a black hole.
joyce is a delightful person, too. that jury session was something else.
the founder, beate minkovsky, who also has some crazy stuff on there, has a bil who was an early great web designer, and that site was a gift of love. didnt hurt that her sister had the same art brain plus tech chops. great photoshopper by version 3.
