the one question every artist has i 'when am i done'
the only class where they even ask it is conservation.
and sometimes the best answer there is- before you begin.

It makes me want to paint another New Mexico stormy sky.

You capture all the elements of nature in your paintings. Your rendering of sunlight and shadows give your landscapes a vastness and visual distance that create great depth. The way you create shadows and sunshine by unseen and seen clouds obscuring the sun in some places and not in others is truly inspired. I like the softness of your work as if the air is slightly diffused by humidity or the atmosphere is hazy. You’ve mastered the myriad light elements and influence on nature, whether on the clouds, the horizon, waterways and the closer objects and plants. Your paintings are exquisite and beautiful in the atmospheric style you create so well. It’s not just your subject that’s compelling. It’s how you render it. The actual brush strokes themselves and the way you blend the colors you choose are excellent and demand attention. It’s inspirational.

then I’ll agree I’m kind. But the fact is, I’m just being truthful and honest. If you appreciate it then you just made me feel good too. Your art is wonderful!
