(18,618 posts)Light, cheerful. I particularly love the speckled blue ceramic vase. Overall it just makes me happy.

(309 posts)but I always underrated Pansies. Living in the SC low country Pansies are celebrated and show up in pots all over. Odd that I would look at them with distain being that I have been into plants and gardening for years. I've never liked roses, they are too busy. Too many petals, the ouchy thorns and aside from The Little Prince I'm just not a fan. I'm Lillium junkie.. Asiatics (only outfacing), Orientals and Trumpets (like the Easter Lily). Lilies aren"t "busy". A bulb, the flower with 6 petals and simple lanceolate leaves. But back to Pansies, the floral season tends to end when cooler temps prevail, so I've decided that with the amazing colors I will gladly jump on the fall Pansy bus!

(309 posts)how your painting revealed the seemingly large palette of colors afforded to the pansy. I especially liked the pale pink. Good job.
