Nick Carter Gets Restraining Order Against Brother Aaron
The relationship between Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and brother Aaron Carter appears to have gone from Twitter feuds to something more disturbing. Nick Carter announced in a tweet Tuesday that he and his sister Angel are seeking a restraining order against their 31-year-old brother, Billboard reports. The 39-year-old said he had decided to seek the order because of Aaron's "increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child."
He added the hashtags #mentalhealth, #GunControlNow, and #GunControl. TMZ reports that a temporary restraining order was granted, requiring Aaron to stay at least 100 feet away from Las Vegas resident Nick, his wife, and other family members.
"We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else," Nick wrote. Aaron responded with dozens of angry tweets, telling his brother: "We're done for life." He said he hadn't seen Nick in four years. "All I ask is for my family to leave me alone," he wrote. "This is blood. Not love. I will never be around you and I dont want to be around you." He also accused Nick of being a rapist and of bullying him his entire life.
Sources tell TMZ that Aaron's family has been "super concerned" about his recent mental state. The sources say police in California are considering obtaining a "Gun Violence Restraining Order" to seize Aaron's gun collection.
