Fran Drescher has no clue about how public appearances affect credibility and relevance.

Drescher is President of SAG, which is now on strike. And it should come to no surprise to her.

And knowing that a prospective strike was about to happen, Drescher made a poor choice of having a selfie of her and Kim Kardashian, smiling and happy.

Drescher claims it was part of her "work" obligation. Could be. But she had to have had a nagging feeling that this photo would be publicized. And pairing with Kim Kardashian, a celebrity who feeds on others' celebrities, is not regarded as an actor even if she has a union card. She crossed the picket line of the Writers' Guild. If you were the President of SAG, is this a good look?

Now Drescher is navigating a very hostile strike. Don't think her adversaries haven't written her off. She made this venture more difficult for herself.

on the nanny. She stated that some shows only pay for 8 to 10 episodes. She said You can’t live on that. She also spoke on AI. I’ve only seen positive views of her until this OP. It’s day 1. Let’s see how she does fully.

How is it not a good look for the organization to be pointing out the problems they have with the studios?

If we, we're fucked. She needs to let the public know that this isn't about multi-millionaire actors, but the ones that are working hard to make a living and the bullshit the studios are doing to screw them in order to make more for the CEOs.

4. I thought she did a damn good job explaining what is

the most important aspect of the problem and the main reason for the strike - namely that actors likenesses and voices would be signed over and then could be used going forward for pretty much any project the big media companies want. They would be paid for 1 day's work and thereafter they would have no control over the use of their images/voices.

Can't remember if I saw this on Alex Wagner or elsewhere last night.
