I recently posted Bruch's "Violin Concerto No.2" and remarked this one is more pleasing than the

other one. Which can be misinterpreted as the other one being his Concerto No. 1, and that was not my intent. The rendition I offered was better, I thot, than another rendition I listened to. I'm scattered at times. Sorry! 😌

P.S. I don't care for Joshua Bell's renditions of the Bruchs too much; too slow and labored.

There was something about his delivery on one piece [not remembering whose composition] I heard and I remained not moved.

'My' radio station played him with Bruch a lot recently, a new album? when I came to that conclusion.

The entire classical music " concert artist" as marketed star is terrible,.
Some, of course, are superb musicians. Some not so much.

And then there, of course, is taste and preference, which is a whole different thing.
