Thanks for posting it! On a personal note, out of all the instruments I wish I had learned, the violin is at the very top of the list. I dated a girl in college who was a fiddle player, mostly bluegrass and old-time Appalachian music, and man, she could do things with that instrument I didn't think were possible.

My son played the cello in school. He introduced me to this incredible cello player named Zoe Keating he found on Bandcamp. This one of my favorites called "The Path". She weaves the music all together as a solo performer. I've purchased everything she releases on Bandcamp. What I love about her music is that she sounds like a full orchestra. She does use a computer, but she creates the sounds live--in the moment. So each performance is a little different than any other! I would love to see her in concert some day.

She is REALLY good! Thanks for introducing me to her music. In case you were wondering, here's my ex with her band:

Not really her best fiddlin', but still very nice if you like that kind of music. I remember her playing about 300 notes a minute when she was facing off against her sister, who is also a fiddler.

Not really my favorite type of music, but I do appreciate the musicians' skill. Your ex also has a good voice. I cannot imagine playing that many notes in succession on a violin! I hope she and her band do well. Thank you for posting this.
