I received my first training on implementing ACA

I am a family medicaid caseworker and SNAP caseworker. We received our first online training regarding ACA and what our role will be in it's implementation. Specifically the exchanges. It appears our duties will be expanded to also determine eligibility for the assistance for those who cannot afford to purchase through the exchange. I admit it was very convoluted and my expectations for how this rolls out are pretty low.

1. Did those who led the training seem to know what they are doing?

I know it will not be an easy transition for everyone from healthcare workers, medicaid caseworkers to government officials, but I do believe the ACA will be of great benefit to millions of Americans.

2. It was put together very well

It has more "pieces" to it if I can use that word to explain it because it's going to allow us to cover more people which is good but I think at first it may leave some people out in the cold. One of the telling sections was that it said it had not yet been decided if medicaid would be expanded to include adults with no dependents, in my state. So we are going to run the exchange, and families with children who can't afford it may be eligible under new criteria but if you are an adult with no dependents you may still be screwed for now.
