The real reason our health care is SO screwed up isn't what we all think- Its completely different!

The real reason is rooted in FREE TRADE IDEOLOGY and BAD TRADE DEALS- and a 1995 WTO Trade Deal called GATS in particular.

Its the gift that keeps on giving, all around the world, in a big way.. Its screwed up health care, its privatizing education, water and housing, its dergulated finances and repealed Glass-Steagall Act- and then a few years later, because of that its arguably responsible for the 2008 financial crisis..

NOW, its stripping Indians - ( its already stripped us all, just for them its getting discussed, because they were told, not like us, also, its many years later, so its viewable on the web) - GATS is being used to strip them of their constitutional right to education.

I was in Seattle in 1999, part of the most peaceful, most awesome protest I've ever been in, trying to stop the WTO, and they tear-gassed us and beat us and jailed us, and then portrayed a police riot as a protestor riot!

And the corpo-fascist media went right along. No surprise there, I guess. The President who was in town, and whom we were protesting, for selling the American peoples' sovereignty right down the river, was Bill Clinton.

Eye-opening for the 50,000 people in that protest, and others who may have understood what was going on--but most Americans were given very calculated disinformation about it, across the board in all corporate media, and even in some leftist publications like the Village Voice.

THAT Clinton policy was emblematic of all that followed, to the Crash of '08. And THAT protest was emblematic of the Clintons' opinion of "the rabble" who have had to live out the nightmare of "neo-liberalism" followed by the second nightmare of the Bush junta.

That "rabble" included Steelworkers, Postal workers, teachers' unions, just about every environmental group in the country, anti-sexism protestors, anti-racism protesters, and all kinds of ordinary people who belong to such groups or just came on their own.

Time for a big, big change! I hope we Democrats put up an honest and very smart New Dealer, Bernie Sanders, to implement fundamental change. He is the only one who can beat Trump, who is trying to turn the unrest of "the rabble" into national fascism. Sanders beats him by 12 pts in current national polls; Hillary by half that and she loses to Cruz and Rubio, while Sanders beats ALL Republicans.

BIG change. FUNDAMENTAL change. A new assessment of every trade agreement and every federal policy. Only Bernie Sanders will do that.

3. What about (regressive) "progressive liberalisation"? Nobody even KNOWS they did this! They outlawed

it ALL, they outlawed the whole New Deal, and are doing it AGAIN now, with the 3T trade deals, just in case the first time (GATS) doesn't "take". (there are a LOT of questions about its legitimacy as you may know)

Along with all forms of public healh care - the kind of economic stimulus Americans expect- spending money on your own companies to hire your own nationals is now FTA-illegal

The Clintons, Bush and Obama outlaw the NewDeal everything plus affordable public everything - banned by the deals, and so they can just rearrange deck chairs and pretend to argue, until TiSA is signed and then an unlimited number of SUPER LOW WAGE foreign contractors here on L1 visas get the high skill jobs and "FIX" it (NOT)! We have to implement WTO "disciplines on domestic regulation" Remember Mad Mike's (WTO DG) making El Salvador "roll back" their minimum wage increase to 36 cents from 60?

You're not considering the millions of GOPers who have or will vote for Clinton. Just like how they did in 2008 with Obama.

You see, the GOP doesn't hate Obama really, its all a big ACT!

I hope so but you should know, the top economists in the US appear not to know what every WTO delegate and corporate lobbyist knows about *cough* "progressive liberalisation".

Also, trade deals are DESIGNED to render "presidents" and "legislators" totally irrelevant to the world of business and their property rights - Google "ratchet" "standstill" "rollback"

The horribly named EU "mandate" is being held up - arrgh- held up as an example of "Transparency" by the EU. (they declassified it so that they can't be accused by their millions of laid off workers "I can get four of him what I pay for one of you" - remember-- of doing what the US is doing and hiding the two worst deals as well as the earlier one and its "Mode Four" job trading scheme, completely,)

if these trade deals go through, and especially if the wife of the man who signed GATS is re-elected, ALL HOPE OF ESCAPING THIS FATE BY PLEADING FRAUDULENT CONCEALMENT, CORRUPTION AND BETRAYAL IS LOST.

We have to be a hell of a lot smarter than we're being now, as they have sold out the people of this country, and hidden it, and all those jobs are now almost a done deal, wit firms in the developing world gearing up for a huge shot in the arm from TiSA and India's proposed WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement on Services. Its by far the biggest con job in the worlds history!
