It definitely sounds like Hopkins, but Max Middleton keeps popping up as keyboards for the sessions on that album.

It was the great Max Middleton, who also played on Blow By Blow. A far more versatile & sophisticated player than Hopkins.
I cared enough about this song to record my own version of it.
