After losing most of my albums in a move, I have a small remaining collection of about 50. I have an old MCS Series (I think JC Penny sold these) turntable and wanted a newer model with Bluetooth output to play next to my living room TV and Edifier (BT and RCA) speakers with a connected subwoofer. I ordered a midrange Audio-Technica automated turntable with BT output for around $200 US. I am not any kind of audiophile and just want a decent sound without destroying my little stash of vinyl. Hoping this will work for me, any suggestions/comments (be kind) appreciated...Cheers...

(68,460 posts)My whole collection is gone. I switched to cassette in around 1980, & was an early adopter to CD.
So, my albums stayed at my parents' house. Not sure if they were dumped when they moved, or after we sold the house after both were deceased.
I have ONE LP. First album I ever bought with my own money. Wheels of Fire by Cream.
That's ok I guess. I don't listen to a ton of music anymore. I'd rather play it myself.
Have fun with your new gear.
