Jimmy has a BIG voice! I looked him up because of this video. He had a nice career, despite some business setbacks.
This video would have been recorded between inxs doing "...Thieves" & "Kick"
That's when they went from stars to superstars.

Being in a big summer blockbuster didn't hurt. Soundtracks used to be a great way to hear new things. "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" soundtrack was where I heard "Concrete Blonde" for the first time.

...one of my favorite bands ever, The Fixx, at their peak of popularity, had a song which wasn't on any albums, over the closing credits of the Michael Pare movie "Streets Of Fire".
Being a fan, when I heard it in the movie, I thought "This is obviously The Fixx. How do I not know this song?"
Well, it was an unused track from Phantoms, but it got more airplay than all but 2 other of their hits!
I liked it so much, our band did it for 15 years!!!
