No not ZZ Top.

The psychedelic sounds of "The 13th Floor Elevators. 1965-1969 from Austin Texas. I remember seeing them on The Ed Sulivan Show. If you notice the strange repeating sound in the background that's a electronic jug. One of the old style crock jugs. First claimed the words psychedelic rock to describe their music.

One of my favorite songs of theirs is

If you're into the Elevators, the 10 cd box set "Sign Of The 3 Eyed Men" (Charly Records UK, 2009) is really worth having, though rather pricey.
