Singer Dinah Washington was #BornOnThisDay, Aug. 29, 1924. Considered 1 of the most popular female recording artist of the 1950s. Primarily a jazz vocalist, she performed a wide variety of styles. Passed in 1963 (age 39) from an accidental OD (pills). #RIP #GoneTooSoon #BeSafe
