Sort of like 'Sentimental Lady'. Bob Welch did it with his band at the time (Fleetwood Mac) and then put it on his solo album as well.

Formed Led Zeppelin. Maybe he wasn't satisfied with the sound. He really did outgrow them and Keith's vocals just sound stunted. I wonder if he had already heard Plant and realized how much better it could sound.
