Until the early 80s I did have the Paranoid album though and played it quite a bit.

Pretty solid performance. Overall, the sound seems like it's a pretty small venue. There's no natural reverb.
Tony's guitar isn't quite as thick as on the albums of that era. Might be how it was recorded, though.
I was a Sabbath fan when I heard the first song on the first album. As a jazz kid, I heard that flatted fifth as the hook and was sold. A flatted fifth as the key to the song? Let's rock!
