This morning I got up and had to reset four clocks, two car clocks, and one microwave. Time was on my mind.

Fellow DUer, Bootinup, snaked me on Pink Floyd's Time, posting it last night. In surfing, to snake someone is to catch the wave before the other guy does.

Clocks - Coldplay from their album A Rush of Blood to the Head released in 2003. Am I the only one who thought this song was by REM?

Time Has Come Today - The Chambers Brothers from their album The Time Has Come released in 1967. The song has been described as psychedelic rock, psychedelic soul, and acid rock. Some Purple haze, please.

Time Passages - Al Stewart from his album of the same name produced by Alan Parsons and released in 1978.

Time Is On My Side - by Jerry Ragovoy in 1963 for jazz trombonist Kai Winding, but covered by Irma Thomas in early 1964, then The Rolling Stones covered her R & B version in 1964, whew!

Love Me Two Times - The Doors from their album Strange Days released in 1967. Keyboardist Ray Manzarek played the final version on a harpsichord and said it was an elegant instrument not normally associates with rock and roll.

Come Down In Time - Elton John from Tumbleweed Connection released in 1970, an elegant song from a truly elegant western themed album.

Your Time is Gonna Come - Led Zeppelin from their debut album Led Zeppelin released in 1969, which accompanied the four of us from Austin, TX on a two month surf safari from Mexico to El Salvador. We got pretty good on air guitar.

Love, Peace, Happiness!
