1. Love The Organ Part On This Song

We saw Kansas by accident.
We went to see Mott The Hoople, & Queen was the scheduled opening act.
But, Brian May contracted hepatitis and they had to cancel the tour.
So, they booked Kansas as the opening act. It was a bad mismatch.
Kansas was good, but the bulk of the fans didn't care. Them, Kerry Livgren made some snide comment about forgetting to wear glitter underwear & he released the hounds.
The audience turned on them & booed them mercilessly at every turn. It was brutal. All Livgren had to do was keep his big mouth shut, but the whole band had to endure the blowback.
I was feeling sorry for them, getting such a tepid reaction & being fish in the wrong lake.
Then, he insulted the whole building and my sympathy evaporated. They all didn't deserve it, but he did.

I got to hear it early some of the time, the early days. They were just everywhere around here.
