While I like it - and just about everything Jethro Tull - it's not even in my Top Ten of their songs, so I wonder why.

If you never saw JT in their prime, you really missed out. IA was a fantastic showman, and the band was really tight.

I'd not heard that before, in relation to Nickelback, nor any other band. So....

They have been among the least profligate bands, as well. Never ones to let a good chord progression go to waste, they tried to recycle many of their more generic ones.

I played the bass, guitar, keys, and various percussion in that band. We did a few Tull songs, because we had a flute player. it started out being great because not too many people covered Tull. However, it became a curse, as no one remembered our name, just that we were 'the band that played Jethro Tull!'

(My favorite to play was 'Living In The Past'.)

... there was a band in Austin that played enough Beatles that no one could remember their name so they changed to "the Egg Men". I thought they should have called themselves "the Fab Eight".
