It might also be either scathingly brilliant or unintelligible, depending on his mood.

Grammys are all about the recording industry patting itself on the back for the great job it's doing. Having a Grammy would be cool I suppose but I'm pretty sure Townes Van Zandt was and is and will forever be cool Grammy or not.

3. Do they even give out awards anymore?

I skimmed through this year's 3.5 hr show and I think they gave away like five statues. The rest was performances. Which is okay by me. The year in music. Some tribute performances. A couple of speeches. Why ruin it with a bunch of awards which, going just by the list of 54 above, don't really mean anything?
