I believe the ensemble is called Latches? I love this kind of guitar and I've been listening to a lot of gypsy jazz lately, even thinking about buying a Selmer copy guitar that I can afford, although I'm more of a bebop player. Have you heard of a young gypsy jazz guitarist named Adrien Moignard? The guy is scary good. Here's a video of him doing the well known bebop standard All The Things You Are but with a Django flavor.
