Just picked up an Orange Micro Terror...

I usually don't recommend stuff as every musician is different but this...

The thing cost $150 bucks and fits into the palm of your hand. It's a 20 watt hybrid with a tube pre-amp. When you look at it it's almost like a joke. Like what am I supposed to do with this stupid thing.

Well, I plugged it into 4 12" Celestians. OMFG!! Monstrous! I'm serious, if you are on a budget and need an amp this little sucker sounds every bit as good and loud as a 50 watt Marshall.. I could not believe the amount of air this thing pushed. Usually an amp like this is good just for practice but you could gig with this thing.
The tone is massive, unlike most practice amps you can actually feel the air pushing when you are playing it, it also produces some seriously clean and smooth feedback. And all that is with the volume on 3. I can't even turn it all the way up in my practice room..

If you are on a budget and need an amp, look no further. This thing is awesome!

And no I don't work for Orange, this is actually my first piece of Orange gear.

It pushes air like you would not believe.. It's shocking. There are a couple demo vids on You Tube and they sound good but you have to be in the room with it to understand...

I think I'll hit GC this weekend and see what's up.

I got gift cards that'll cover most of it.

That would be great for jam night. Talk about not having to lug gear to play 5 or 6 tunes with other guys. That would be perfect.

$150 plus $24 (2-yr coverage) plus tax came out to about $187 and change. With gift cards, I ended up paying about $37.50 out of pocket. Not too shabby...lol.

I played it at the store through an Orange 2x12 and oh my gawd does this thing fucking pump!

Now all I gotta do is pick up a cheap cabinet and I'm in business!
