some hourglass tree frogs (Dendropsophus ebraccatus) shot with lumix G9 and olympus 60mm f/2.8 macro:



this was a recently transformed froglet of the same species....it was about the size of a coffee bean:



this one seemed to have a lesion or scar on its vocal sac:





these frogs are called hourglass tree frogs because of the hourglass shaped marking usually found on their backs, but they are quite variable and some have no pattern on their back, like the male in this shot:

I envy the variety and color of the fauna you have in the forest. I need to work at finding some of the more photogenic species here in TX like the Leopard, Green Tree Frog and some I've yet to identify. Unfortunately they're all pretty shy and not easy to photograph in the wild.
