Related: About this forumSunset over an Amish-country cornfield (last night, w/fireflies)
I set out to find some fireflies last night, scouting fields in rural Lancaster County, PA, where I'd seen them before in mid-June. They didn't put on much of a light show last night, even after the sun had been down for over an hour. Their bright-yellow trails can be seen in the photo.

I've been seeing them in my garden since the beginning of the month.
Thanks, Walleye!

I see them, and they are so small.
