Im not lepidopterist, but thats what it looks like to me. (Identified thanks to National Audubon Societys Field Guide to Butterflies). Host plants include passion flower species.
Similar to Mexican silver spot (Dione moneta), but its range is south Texas to Peru, so this is unlikely to be what you photographed.
