I Googled to see if there is a collective noun for a group of butterflies. The are several - kaleidoscope and shimmer were my favorites.

I think the gardens are in Rolling Hills Estates where the slide is.

I've never seen a large group of butterflies all gathered together like that In "real life," and the effect is amazing. Congrats on capturing all of these, especially that group shot.
