As many of you know it is not easy to run a contest. Though some can do it almost as if one hand is tied behind their back, but I am not one of those.

It's like riding a bicycle, isn't it?

I am amused that the "winners" were moon photos and shots taken in France. I went back and forth trying to decide between two photos to enter, and yes, the other shot I considered was taken in France in a limestone 'cave' under the vineyards of Saint Emilion. I eventually decided against that shot because it felt too much like you had to have been there to absorb the atmosphere, whereas everyone has looked up at the moon in the woods and wondered what might be lurking in the shadows.

What a fun contest!
