the church was built in 1853 and burned down in 1912
it was rebuilt 1 1/2 miles away since the entire town had moved whn the railroad bypased the old town

The old church is wonderfully framed by the Milky Way. The details are easily seen, even though there isn't much light.

I had brought a flashlight to lightpaint teh church but didnt need it with the light spill from teh ranch
the glow on the right is from san antonio,45 miles away
