Pretty good video on how to. He mentions specific name brands and no doubt is paid by the companies but I can't fault the recommendations he makes.

If your camera does not have interchangeable lenses instead of extension tubes there are close up lenses that screw into the filter ring. You will find the size on your lens or inside the lens cap.
