And if it were AI, how would I know it was necessarily 'to trick me', how is that defined? That'd require knowing the creator's intent which sounds difficult from a distance.
Also it could be not an actual photo of a frog, but not necessarily 'A.I.'. Could be a 'frog' wireframe someone built, then applied textures and lighting shadows to, kinda like how it's done in a video game or Pixar movies.
Also if it started as a regular digital photo but has had various filters applied via photoshop or the like, would it still be a 'real frog' image?

(33,643 posts)And had filters applied, wherein the filters leverage A.I.-based processing techniques in which case it's like Schrödinger's Frog

Gato Moteado
(9,927 posts)....but the fact is that most of the in-situ frog shots i post aren't even high res....i'm using a 20MP lumix G9. but, if they look high res, that's a testament to the micro 4/3 technology.
this one is either real, fake or real fake, tho.

The fact that your critters seem surreal not withstanding there are more things in heaven and Earth, Gato, than are dreamt of in your philosophy . . .
