International Space Station sighting over my home tonight

The ISS was visible for three minutes, traveling from WNW to SSE over my home. This is my first attempt at photographing the ISS. There'll be additional opportunities during the next four nights, weather permitting.

And right on time was a space shuttle catching up.

It was the best thing I have seen since the moon landings, because this wasn't on TV.

I ordered a new kit lens for my Canon R10 this morning. It's really tiny and will make travelling a lot easier.

That's pretty iffy, since we are getting monsoon storms.

The cool part is that is will pass into Earth's shadow just as it reaches maximum brightness overhead. I've seem this before and it turned a red color as the Sun set from it's perspective.
