Those avocados have a limited season, and they're so very good. I don't remember the name, but they're more round than the usual avocados I see. They're also a little pricier than the ordinary ones.
But they are worth it!
I use Italian salad dressing that comes in an envelope and you mix it with vinegar, water and oil. We enjoy it a lot.
It was a great dinner!

varieties of avocados. Two of the rounder ones seem to be Reed, and Holiday.

They're quite round, and when they're cut, the skin is immediately loose. Quite easy to peel!
Thanks for your input, my dear niyad.

I had no idea. I thought there were three or four. I like the Fuerte, I think that's the kind, that are kind of bottle-nosed with a small seed. Those are nutty and sweet, my favorite. Up here they are in a pile, usually, at the store and you have to pick through them carefully as the produce folks up here don't realize they bruise even when they are hard.

I was on vacation and the place where I always had breakfast did give me a small side salad with my food! And it was delicious too.

I love avocados too, a lot! And they're healthy.
It was a great salad.

Now, it's just a memory . . . and a photo!
