What a great array of photos. Love 'em all!
Great band shots; great crowd shots!
What is in the last shot? It looks like a glass sphere.

Thank you!

I went to the concert with two friends and soon after we set up our chairs on the lawn, we noticed the sphere. It would be hard not to notice such an unusual object. Here's a closeup taken before sundown and a shot of the sphere in context.

Turns out it's a helium balloon with fairy lights. The owners said they bought it at a novelty store for $13, which included filling it with helium. I'd like to have one, but how would I do a refill when the helium finally escapes? Maybe the store does free refills.

BTW, that's the moon peeking through the leaves at top right.

Thanks!

I would never have guessed that this is a helium balloon! I thought it was glass.
And I love the moon peeking through the trees. I've seen her doing that in my back yard! Your shot is very cool.
All the photos here and in your post are most excellent!

As part of a centerpiece on every table at an outdoor evening wedding reception or other kind of summer party.

I was surprised to hear a banjo played during the sound check; I thought they were primarily an R&B dance band. The banjo was used during their cover of Old Crow Medicine Show's "Wagon Wheel" and a few other songs. As expected, they played a lot of R&B as well. It seemed that most of the some 2,000 attendees were up and dancing when they played Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk." The last song was AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long." Didn't expect to hear that one! They encored with "Shout!"

Thanks for taking the extra time to fill in some details! I love wine and I love live music. What a great evening! I don’t know how anyone could stand still hearing “Uptown Funk.” And “You Shook Me” and “Shout” ….Great way to end it!
