it's kind of gold but i was so close with a flash that it's pretty hot.....i can probably get some of the color back into it

Nubbley wasabi-tinted skin, hypnotic red/gold eyes, and those delightful pastel jelly toes.
Gliding? Like flying squirrels? At first, I read it gilding, which tracks with the lace-like filigree of the eye membrane.

What size is this jewel? It fills the frame, but I’m thinking it’s quite small?

Mother Nature is an artist with a sense of humor. What a world of wonder.
