Ms K and I spent last week on the Mogollon Rim in Arizona.

Here's a photo-- the wind was whipping and the vegetation was swinging wildly that afternoon. Some is a tad soft due to motion blur. That slight brownish haze on some of the horizon was smoke from a distant prescribed burn.

Thank you for sharing. Whereabouts on the Rim is this? As you very likely know (but for the benefit of those who don't), it's a very long escarpment, running at least a couple hundred miles from west of Sedona, eastward into the Gila Range of western New Mexico.

...about five miles or so before the rim road connects with SR 87 several miles from Payson. Coming from the 87, this spot is a couple miles past the Forest Service Kehl Spring camp. OMG it was windy! I'm glad you like the photo!

I have passed through there twice over the years, but never stayed overnight. Having a week there sounds great!
