I'm familiar with this bird--they ate all the koi the lady who lived here before us put into the pond--but I've never felt they were really blue until I saw the middle picture above. They look gray from a distance, but now I know they're blue.

(84,312 posts)Hey, Mousetoescamper, ever consider printing a few of these up in a natural wows booklet or maybe a set of picture postcards (one-sided, so you dont need to spend more or buy envelopes)!
Also, I cant help but imagine that the mail carriers enjoy looking at pretty pictures as they sort mail or deliver it house-to-house. Gives them a little eye-treat, too!
