My family has been here since the 1920’s so..I’d be a liar if I said I’ve never thought of leaving, especially these days of DeSantis, high insurance premiums and the humidity is getting harder to take as I get older.

3. I got up early with the pup to enjoy "virgin" snow just before sun-up before shoe tracks destroy...

All I saw were little tracks from the tiny feet of numerous wild rabbits in my neighborhood...

It was a very nice morning.

4. Cheesman Park!

So lovely! I miss living in Denver. Has it already melted?

My amusing story about photographing snowfall in Cheesman: I got out midday, after people had already been out mucking about. Smoked a bowl and was disappointed by how much had already melted off the trees, but was delighted to discover someone had built a HUGE snowman. I photographed it seven ways 'til Tuesday, got home and was so pleased with the results! Later, when I'd straightened up, I noticed something I hadn't the whole time I was shooting: the giant snowman had a giant penis!
How the hell did I miss it?!?

I've seen those big snowmen with enormous erections - they're still here.

I love looking at snow. Its so peaceful.

Not so much though, when we have to slog around the farm feeding animals, and carrying water buckets because the hoses are frozen.

because last week it had been in the 80's in Denver. Climate change.
