photo i took of a well known Monkee!

errrrrr.....monkey. a squirrel monkey, shot from one of my wildlife blinds with a nikon Z8 and 500mm nikon f/5.6. too much lens for how close they come to me!



the light was low and i shot this at ISO 5000. the image was noisy, which is not surprising from a high resolution sensor in low light. i would have never posted it online except i tried lightroom's new AI denoise and it works like a miracle. the noise disappeared.

7. i haven't figured out how to find the noisy RAW file i processed after i've denoised, but....

....i processed another noisy image today and i took a screen shot of it before i denoised it.....look at this thread where i show a side by side comparison:

I now use Photo AI routinely for noise reduction and presharpening raw files, then Sharpen AI for final sharpening. They work wonderfully.

I love the bokeh in your photo too. You nailed the depth of field perfectly.
