These are from the Christmas market. It was a drizzly day and unfortuneately we had to leave before it got dark. The markets are very nice in the sun or at night.

(3,217 posts)during WWII, but the inhabitants decided to rebuild on the original medieval footprint with crooked streets . Beautiful!

(21,615 posts)I went to the main market in the main old town Square and also the market near the university.
I remember getting a mug of hot mulled wine and walking in the snow from one wooden market stall to another. It was a truly magical experience.
My German friend sent me one of the wooden incense burners like the ones in the fourth picture.

(4,703 posts)We got rain with only the hint of snow on roofs. Plus 2 and drizzle isn't as nice as minus 2 and snow flurries. The varieties of travel.
A lot of Germans go out with friends just to hang out and have the gluwein and wurstchen. Thanks.
