yesterday there was a large group of the former, also known as squirrel monkeys, until a small group of the latter, also know as white faced capuchins, came by and the smaller guys scattered and hid. i'm not quite sure how i got that late afternoon golden hour light at 6:30AM.

(50,927 posts)Morning air typically has less haze and dust due to cooler night air and lighter winds overnight. Dust and haze filter out blue rays preferentially, so they make for warmer colour. This is why late afternoons tend to be warmer coloured.
On the other hand, North of the equator, less than two weeks from solstice, 6:30 am is "earlier", warmer, than 6:30 am in June. This favours warmer colours in December.
I enjoy the photos, especially monkeys. Good work!
