Related: About this forumAutumn (Torty)
likes to climb curtains and was unceremoniously dumped.
We don't CARE if she climbs curtains. (Plus we have cat trees.)
She's much happier with us, but is so active she's hard to photograph.

(92,684 posts)1. Pretty girl!
Torties are very active and often live rather long lives. I have known more than a few who lived into their twenties.

Don't mutts live longer than pedigreed in general?
They are rather vocal as well.

I only had one curtain-climber. A couple of sessions with the squirt bottle solved that problem.

(14,682 posts)7. My first
cat was a tortie-1987. When my husband and I got her it was obvious she would be mine. All the cats we have had since then prefer my husband. Oh well.
