Cara cara navel orange, grown in California. Bought four at my local market in PA this morning. Sweetest and juiciest navel oranges I've ever tasted. Cara cara's are a cross between Washington navel and Brazilian Bahia navel oranges.

(5,142 posts)4. If you can get them fresh from the grove, all the better!
I bought a few of the cara cara navel oranges at a grocery store last week to see if they're any better than the bland, dry navel oranges usually available. The cara caras are delectable. I was glad to see a bin full of them at my local farmers' market today. They're in season from CA until April.
