(152,071 posts)The birds were really showing off today, posing for you.
And the trees and shrubs, along with the flowers, were cooperating too.
One of the flowering shrubs in the middle looks a lot like my oak-leaf hydrangeas. They are beautiful.
The whole thread is a treat for my eyes!!

(5,138 posts)That's a flowering white dogwood, native to Pennsylvania. The flowering of the trees and shrubs is winding down. Soon the summer foliage will make it more difficult to find the birds.

(3,521 posts)Is it mouse toe scamper or mouse toes camper? And then I wonder why either way. Mouse toes are cute
Mousetoescamper
(5,138 posts)It's a silly name with which I am stuck: Mouse-toe-scamper. Mouse toes works too.
It's in reference to an obscure song and an unfortunate late-night encounter with a house mouse while reaching for a box of crackers in a kitchen cabinet.
