5. I love berries!

We have a blueberry bush in our yard, and go picking every year out in Puyallup and pick about 7 lbs or so each year. We have lots of blackberries too, and have some apple trees. I'd like to get a raspberry bush.

7. Makes me want to hop across the country to Manhattan Beach

I lived in Hermosa Beach as a child and one of my memories is all the color everywhere. Lots of flowers, the ocean (of course), the colorful shops, etc. I used to love to walk down to the strand and just "take in" everything. You have captured lovely patterns and colors at the great Manhattan Beach Farmer's Market.....thank you for taking me back!!

And the beach towns are much the same as when you lived here. More gentrified, of course, as everyone wants to live near the ocean!

Everything I've bought here is truly fresh and healthy.

The state of California inspects all the organic farmers to make sure they're doing what they say they are. That makes for excellent produce!

The straw tote bags? You know, I've never asked. They could well be. I will ask next week!

The lady who sells the microgreens is a friendly sort; I took a photo or two last week. So now she knows who I am and we had a nice chat while I took these photos.

I asked her if she'd like to have them too and offered to send them to her. She gave me her email address and they went to her today!

Haven't eaten them in decades; used to grow them at home! A fun and delicious hobby.
