(153,130 posts)I'm not sure how much longer we have to go--we are both in our 80's now! Omigod!
We're having fun, no matter how long we last.

CaliforniaPeggy
(153,130 posts)And congratulations on celebrating your 40th! That many years takes serious dedication, respect and mutual desire.
I suspect that there will be more anniversary photos about a year from now.
Of course, there will be other kinds of photos in the meantime!

(5,073 posts)May all good things be yours and may your paths always entwine so beautifully.
Next year will be our 40th... told hubby about the rose petals on your table... hint, hint! (LOL)
CaliforniaPeggy
(153,130 posts)So far, so good! Like any married couple, we've had our disagreements, but we get over them and go on.
Hey, the rose petals were the restaurant's idea, not ours! I think high end restaurants do stuff like that.
Hope you enjoy your 40th!

You both look so happy! And your dinner looks scrumptious! Is that fish?
CaliforniaPeggy
(153,130 posts)The restaurant is just gorgeous! The food was perfect as well. Our server was attentive but never bothered us!
And yes, we did have fish. My husband had the Alaskan Halibut and I had the Petrale Sole. We shared potatoes au gratin!
There was so much food that we took some of it home!

There are loves
Which become resistant to damage
Like wine that improves with age
This is how what I feel for you grows
There are loves
They wait for winter and bloom
And in the autumn nights they turn green
Just like the love I feel for you

Many thanks to all!
