While I'm hardly an expert on coyotes, I've seen quite a few of them where I live, in Nevada. I've never been stalked by one; in fact, they usually get leery of humans and start trying to put distance between me and it. I would think it would have to be very hungry and very large to take down a full-sized human and if it is THAT large, it's probably already getting enough to eat.

made our way back to the main trail which is much busier. It was kinda creepy.
