(93,436 posts)My sister gave me a minipod sort of thing that can strap the camera to things and she also gave me one that straps it to your hand as well as other things, sometimes it helps stabilize my motion. I found that holding perfectly still can be hard sometime. I hardly use them but I have and they did help. When the image subject covers such a small area, even your heartbeat can foul a good shot.

(152,451 posts)I've never used a monopod, but I have heard how useful they can be. I've learned to hold my breath when shooting something tricky. The camera actually freezes the image when you press the shutter halfway, and then you can get the photo! It's great when it works.

(152,451 posts)I love the gold balls so much! I love the depth of field in that one. And those leaves! They really turned out, with the shadows just a bit enhanced.
I suspect he would be.
